The Dreaming Beyond Borders Resource center aims to create a safe, supportive, welcoming and inclusive space for undocumented students and students from mixed status families at Oregon State University.

The Office of Student Orientation serves as a leader in facilitating the transition process for new undergraduate students and families. The office organizes START for first-year and transfer students, a program that provides workshops and information on campus resources and the transition to campus. The Office of Student Orientation also coordinates OSUWelcome, a series of events and activities to support new students when they join Oregon State. 

ASC strategists want to support you on your path to academic success. We know that OSU has a lot of resources to support students, but that sometimes it can be hard to know what you're looking for or where to find it. ASC strategists are here for remote consults to help you find what you need. In addition to identifying resources, strategists can help you form successful study groups, introduce learning and study tools and assist as you get ready for midterms and finals.

The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides support and services to help all students achieve their academic goals. ASC programs help students develop learning strategies and time management skills to excel in their coursework and stay on track to graduate.

The Academics for Student Athletes office provides academic and personal support to all student athletes at Oregon State University. We strive to create a collaborative environment with other campus departments that will help you achieve your potential for intellectual, social and personal development. Services include sport-specific academic counselors and priority class registration for student athletes, with guidance and advising from major department advisors as well as ASA academic counselors.

Academic learning assistants provide an array of services to support residential students in the adjustment to the academic rigors of Oregon State University. ALAs work to cultivate strong academic habits and college knowledge, promote engagement with university resources and assist students in navigating the university landscape. Services range from one-on-one meetings with students to hall-wide programming initiatives. 

This office supports international students from admissions through graduation with advising services and guidance on settling in at Oregon State. Staff are available to help you with questions and locate other services on campus, as needed.

The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is a federally-funded program designed to support students whose background includes migrant/seasonal agricultural work. The program provides financial and academic support to first-year students with the goal of preparing them for further success in college. CAMP works with faculty, student services and community-based agencies to improve educational opportunities.

TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) helps first-generation college students and other students who would benefit from additional support make the transition to college. TRiO-SSS offers academic guidance, professional development, peer mentorship, technology access, student success seminars and additional services.
