The Center for Advocacy, Prevention & Education (CAPE) cultivates a survivor-centered, trauma informed, culture of consent. We aim to create lasting social change and eliminate gender-based violence through shared goals of comprehensive sexual health education, action-oriented prevention and compassionate survivor support.

If calling after hours, select option 1 from the phone menu to leave a confidential voicemail, or option 2 to reach the 24/7 confidential advocacy hotline with our community partner CARDV.

Grocery support at the Basic Needs Center includes shelf stable staples like rice, pasta, beans, corn, canned veggies, instant noodles, flour, canned meats, and often limited fresh produce, tofu, frozen meats, shelf stable or refrigerated milk, and milk alternatives. Income guidelines apply. 

The Basic Needs Center is here to support you. We provide textbook access, laptop and calculator lending and food assistance. Contact the center for peer support to help you identify and apply to resources. 

Through our many programs, Student Experiences & Engagement provides hands-on experiences that can help you find a sense of belonging, build skills for employability, challenge your heart and mind, make new connections, amplify your strengths, help you connect to purpose, lift your spirit and support you living your best life. 

The Academic Success Center (ASC) provides support and services to help all students achieve their academic goals. ASC programs help students develop learning strategies and time management skills to excel in their coursework and stay on track to graduate.

This office supports international students from admissions through graduation with advising services and guidance on settling in at Oregon State. Staff are available to help you with questions and locate other services on campus, as needed.

Have you experienced or witnessed an incident of bias at Oregon State? In the university's ongoing efforts to create a safe and inclusive environment for all students, the Office of Institutional Diversity collaborates with campus partners to respond to incidents of bias. This team takes seriously all reports of bias and depending on the circumstances may follow up with campus safety, referrals to university resources, or community outreach. Use this form to report discrimination, bullying or other incidents of bias; reports may be made anonymously.
