OSU participated in the Multi-Institutional Study of Leadership (MSL) in order to understand better the leadership development of students. The project was sponsored by the University of Maryland—College Park and 54 institutions were selected to participate in the initial study. The MLS uses the social change model of leadership as the theoretical and conceptual model for the study.
