Student Community Climate Survey

Project Information

Oregon State University piloted and distributed the first Student Community Climate Survey during April and May of 2015. Students, representatives from various academic departments, the graduate school, and several student affairs departments worked together to create a survey in an effort to inform OSU's understanding of how students experience OSU. The content of this survey is intentionally nimble in an effort to inform existing or emerging concerns as they arise on campus; the survey takes place every other year.

Data is examined and distributed in a variety of ways as partners across all of OSU's campuses and centers strive to create environments where all students thrive. The Student Affairs Assessment office partners with the Oregon Policy Analysis Lab (OPAL) on the administration and reporting for this survey.

The Student Community Climate Survey Reports are available to internal audiences on a OSU University-Wide Surveys SharePoint site.

There are numerous campus resources available to students. Whether facing financial challenges, managing conflicts, looking for ways to get involved, needing accommodations for a disability or seeking support after a sexual assault, visit the OSU Experience website to find resources.
