Staff

Eric Cardella - he/him/his

Eric joined OSU as Director of Youth Safety & Compliance in December 2018. He previously served as the chief operations officer for the Boys & Girls Club of Salem, Marion and Polk counties, where he supported the safety and well-being of more than 12,000 youth each year through camps, athletic leagues, after-school programs and targeted initiatives. He serves on the Governor’s Youth Development Council, helping to promote policy and steer funding toward programs that focus on equity and address barriers to education and professional success. Eric has also coordinated state-wide service learning and civic engagement initiatives at The University of Montana through Montana Campus Compact. As a two-term AmeriCorps alum, he supported K-12 literacy and conflict resolution initiatives in rural North Carolina, and helped out-of-school youth earn their high school equivalency and gain job skills in Eastern Washington.
