Student Affairs Communications & Marketing serves the Office of the Vice Provost for Student Affairs creating and coordinating timely communications on behalf of the vice provost, supporting division-wide projects and working with division and university partners to establish consistent branding and efficient best practices.
This office facilitates professional development and cross-departmental collaboration through the Central Communications Team and the Brand Management and Communications Strategy Team (Brand Team); maintains the Division of Student Affairs and OSU Experience websites; creates division messaging and branding guidelines; and partners on new tools to reach students with changing communication styles and needs. We also support communications with alumni, donors and community partners.
In addition to serving the vice provost, this office helps support select departmental projects, providing clients with graphic design, web development and content services. The office has developed liaison relationships with the centrally funded and other departments without professional communications staff, and meets with key contacts regularly to provide communications guidance. The team is available to all division staff to answer communications, marketing and branding questions.
