Office of Advancing Academic Equity for Student Success

The Office of Advancing Academic Equity for Student Success (AAESS) facilitates and promotes — through various initiatives, services and collaborative programs — an equity minded academic and social environment that contributes to the overall success of all Oregon State University students. Beyond the OSU community, the office of AAESS supports institutional wide efforts aimed at the recruitment and advancement of students of color and other underrepresented student populations. The work of AAESS supports the university's strategic plan goals and core values related to educational access and success.

AAESS Initiatives

Complementing the overall university plans to infuse an equity lens into OSU classrooms, programs and services to ensure success for all students, AAESS combines curricular and co-curricular experiences to provide intentional high-touch support that advances academic and experiential learning opportunities for students.

Men's Development & Engagement

MDE provides engaging and innovative programs that support the success of male-identified students, develop healthy men and definitions of masculinity, and engage male-identified individuals in the exploration of identity development and societal norms.
